We are launching a new course called Better Project Status Reports. The brief is to design a front cover for the accompanying ebook. Elements from the ebook cover will also be used as graphics on the course website and on course handouts. Therefore while the cover needs to work as a whole, it also needs to include elements (a main graphic, for example, or a couple of smaller images) that could be pulled out and used on other material (and we would require permission from you to use your design in this way). For example, in the design contest for a previous ebook (https://99designs.co.uk/print-desig…ent-104267) we used the image of a mask on the accompanying report that was packaged with the book.
The course is to help project managers produce better reports and to communicate better with their teams and customers. A course outline has been uploaded for you to see the course content, in case that inspires you!
The ebook cover should include the course title, and a small space at the bottom for our company logo (which can be provided to shortlisted designers or on request if you feel you need it now: you can see it on our website at http://www.otobosgroup.com).
The cover should be professional, not include clip art-style images, inspire confidence in the material and be 'clean'. Plenty of white space is fine, or a pale coloured background is also OK. I will provide feedback and answer questions as required, so please get in touch with any questions.
