We are a lab that conducts diabetes research, including growing stem cells as a potential diabetes therapy.

The competition is for two figures/illustrations to support a review article in the journal “Cell Metabolism”. To minimize your initial investment, please feel free to submit an illustration for just one of the two figures (your choice) in the first round. Based on this first design, we will select finalists to submit both illustrations.
The illustrations should be stylistic representations based upon the examples we provide. All components of figures should be original content (i.e., we cannot exactly copy these examples). Figures must be on a white background and font should be Helvetica or Arial, as per journal guidelines.
The winner must provide original, editable source files.

These figures may need revisions as we move close to publication, after the competition closes. The successful artist may be asked to do additional editing at a later time. Please indicate your hourly rate for revisions.
