Mission Statement
Sign Out Now's mission is to universally connect healthcare providers via an easily accessible and accountable network allowing for the seamless hand-off of patients.

With over 20 years of combined hospitalist experience, Chief of Staff and Medical Director, Dr. Jeff Shapiro and Dr. Rafii Hodikian created the Sign Out Now (“SON”) system to streamline communication between physicians at the time of discharge. The daily discharges of patients being sent off into the void with no standardized method of contacting the accepting physician prompted them to provide a solution to this widespread issue. SON helps to eliminate the current massive communication gap thereby improving patient safety and quality of care.

We believe SON is not only a system, but a culture of medicine; one that stresses the importance of proper communication.
