The purpose of this logo is for a new location we are opening in Hong Kong. We currently have a veterinary specialty hospital in San Diego, California. We are one of the largest veterinary specialty hospitals in the country, with over 50 doctors and 200 employees. Currently we only treat dogs and cats (which will be the case in Hong Kong too). Our doctors are board certified specialists in the following specialties: surgery, internal medicine, neurology/neurosurgery, cardiology, dermatology, ophthalmology, medical oncology, radiation oncology, radiology, emergency/critical care, and anesthesiology. We have state-of-the-art equipment identical to what would be present in any advanced human hospital, and perform similar advanced procedures for complex medical problems. Our equipment and procedures include MRI, CT, ultrasound, endoscopy, laparoscopy, joint replacement surgery, pacemaker placement, chemotherapy, radiation therapy, etc. etc.
We are now going to expand into another location in Hong Kong. This location will be the first veterinary specialty referral hospital in Hong Kong, and possibly all of Asia. We want to convey the image of state-of-the art medicine/technology, compassion for our patients, availability (24/7 emergency services). We are not sure whether we want to completely re-brand for the Hong Kong location, or have a logo similar to our current one (but not one that is in conflict with local culture).
