We are called BreathLogic® (a 501c3 non-profit). As you know, stress has become a global epidemic. Our MISSION is to integrate tools for breath awareness & breath empowerment into ones daily life through education, fun and self care.
Learning proper breathing techniques provides many benefits for stress reduction.
We are developing programs and curriculum for organizations such as schools from K-University, hospitals/clinics, corporations and businesses .
Additional products will include "Power of Breath" Training Manuals, CDs, Apps, YouTubes and a variety of products with the word Breathe.
We feel the way we breathe can cultivate inner peace which then promotes planetary peace.
(Ideally the designer that selects our logo competition may have knowledge of yoga and breathing. We welcome your creative ideas.)

Target audience: Everyone who breathes; focusing first on people interested in wellness (yoga practitioners/teachers), medical personnel, educators & students, athletes, singers, the elderly etc.
Values to communicate with your design: What feelings and messages do you want the visual design to communicate to your viewer?
* To see the power we have in our breath to enhance every aspect
of our lives.
* The desire to take a deep breath
* The realization that it be common sense/LOGICAL to turn to our
breath for wellbeing and empowerment
* To see and feel the brain/breath/heart connection
The challenge is to express the free flow of "the breath" and to capture this graceful feeling):
1- IDEA: TYPE FONT=The type font you select should be free flowing, very readable and suggestive of the breath. Seems like upper and lower case works best and we wish for an initial cap on the "B" and the "L". Our non profit name is ONE WORD "BreathLogic®" with a little ®for registered. PLEASE also try to reverse the typography and make it small to be sure the type holds up when reduced in size. When the logo is used on cross platforms it must be very readable when small on mobile devices please. (WE will certainly consider exploring licensing a type font for multiple uses… print / web/ mobile etc). If you find something wonderful please communicate with your logo submission.
IDEA: Perhaps the typography could be set on a curve.
2- IDEA: Please google other breathing /breathwork websites and books and see how others have a wave(S) flowing through the word or nearby the word which expresses movement.
3-IDEA: Please see the attached 2-page pdfs. We really would love to have a graphic graceful interpretation of The LUNGS surrounding the HEART. I have attached some samples within this 2 page pdf. It is more important that the LUNGS are representing the breath however we are wishing the heart/breath connection too.
4- INK Colors: Shades of Blues /Purples with accents of SAGE Greens OR perhaps a spot of ORANGE such as a dot over the "i".
