Create a fun, yet sophisticated logo for a mobile dental clinic

SoCal Mobile Dentistry

This is a mobile dental company in Southern California. We offer dental services on a bus/RV that has been converted into a dental clinic.

I'd like to explore the following colors:

Yellows: Energy, intellect, fun and youth.
Oranges: Creativity, adventure and happiness.
Let designers make suggestions:

I would like a design that is fun, yet conveys quality, and not look like it is dentistry for kids.
-Designs that use the letters of the company name in some interactive way is preferred.
-Should have the themes: California (palm trees, beach, sun, sunglasses, etc...), dentistry (but please no smiling/winking molars), and hint at the fact that it is mobile (but not too overt, I don't want to see a big bus in the logo).
-Designs that have a 3D quality to it (either in the letters or illustration or both) are preferred. I would like the logo to have a sense of depth (shadows, bevels, shading, etc...)
-This logo will be used to promote our services to professional tech companies in the LA area.
