Hey Guys! I am attaching files for inspiration. For me, the name Lotus is a symbol of female power. At the very center, core of our beings is tiny grain of bright white light, a pure Essence, condensed into itself a hundreds times over, tiny and yet so incredibly powerful (our soul?), this kernal of sand (like the glowing grain of sand in the hand of the Princess at the end of The Neverending Story) resides deep inside of ourselves, protected by the layers of our bodies and consciousness/egos, like the petals of the lotus layered and enfolded around the center, the piston...This is where the chakras and energy fields come into play....all of the chakra symbols are various forms of the lotus flower, intricate geometric shapes with a central power....The lotus flower was chosen long ago to symbolize the chakras because of the way it rises through the most difficult circumstances to become a thing of pure and unadulterated beauty. I really like the crown chakra..I am drawn to the shape and color....it is LILAC and i also like the heart chakra...whose colors are SMOKEY PURPLE, SMOKEY GREEN AND GREY; 3rd reason the Lotus is significant to my practice is that it is a symbol for female sexual anatomy, and I am catering to female health and wellness.....so, to sum it up: for me Lotus is STRONG, powerful, pure, hidden, ancient, energy, female, goddess? like athena, aphrodite, venus
