We'd like to convey that we are more than audio technicians, even though we do value the technical aspect of our work. We have an artistic streak and put a lot of love into our projects. No conveyor belt work. We are creative, and act as consultants when it comes to the overall sonic identity of the film, adding valuable insights to the director’s creative vision.
The word "sync point" is a term used in audio production to mark a particular part of an audio file to sync with something else - possibly a part of a film, or another audio file. You don't need to include this in the design, but it's something that could be explored.
Also worth noting that the logo doesn't need to scream "audio", in fact it doesn't have to have anything specifically related to audio at all. We don't need cliche speakers/headphones etc in the design!
We are a small company with only four employees currently, and we are targeting the indie film market, with a purpose of getting bigger film and TV clients in the future.
Our unfinished website: sync-point.com (it's going to be kept mainly in greys/blacks/whites with hints of colour)
