I've attached images of some ideas of the direction we would like it to go.
-Maybe the use of negative space.
-Definitely would like something minimal and able to be laser cut for business cards.
-We're drawn to the idea of line design that has a hidden image or (at an angle) it reveals letters or a symbol relating to building. I like how the Igloo logo represents igloo but also has the letter I in it. Here is the Pinterest board as a link. https://pin.it/534x6qtgm5nr7o
We love the Nicholas Architect look in business card. Also, if possible, we would like to have the logo laser cut on a board for site signage. If not, we would use the logo for mesh or vinyl banner.
I've included screenshots of it as well. The board and signage images are more to show what material they will be on and less about the logo. The Atkinson pontifex one looks cool as signage design. But I'm getting ahead of myself! The logo on the truck is okay, I like that it is buildings but also makes the letter M. We're aft something with extreme creativity but modern, simple and classic! The J group icon is nice because its so simple and minimal and shows a J and g. Oh and we definitely want a favicon as well, so that this logo can be used in a website. The J group favicon (I attached) is very crisp. That is exactly what we want.
Right now we use the following colors. RGB 76 76 76 and RGB 229 136 60
We are open to new colour schemes or to stay with original.
Lastly, I included some drawings of my own. Please don't focus too much on these, but just more of an idea of the over all look. I hope this was thorough enough for you!
