Flat, modern logo needed for a vitamin/supplement company

At Vitavana we offer the highest quality supplements available on the market and seek to establish our brand as the premier online vitamin/supplement retailer in a crowded marketplace. We are in need of a visually appealing logo that separates us from our competitors and conveys a sense of quality, trustworthiness and exclusivity through the use of a simple but powerful flat, minimalist logo. The logo will be used on our website Vitavana.com as well as product packaging and various marketing collateral.

My goal for this project would be to have a flat, minimalist logo with a unique icon design and a font that perfectly capture the essence of our company and brand positioning as an upscale retailer of natural products. If I had to make a comparison is that we would like to position our company Vitavana to be like the Amazon.com of the vitamin/supplement world if that makes sense. I would also hope that the logo contains a hint toward nature like maybe having green as one of the colors although I don’t want to guide you too much as far as design because I think you will know what looks best.

I’m also looking for designers that are available for 1-on-1 projects. As you’ll see in my profile I often provide plenty of 1-on-1 projects for contest winners so I hope you will be available for work after the contest is done.

Please either make the icon a green color or at least incorporate green into the design. I'd prefer to see the design on a white background with the icon on the left side of the text, not on top.

Notice the best logo’s use a clean, minimal, modern design combined with a tasteful color palette. Those are the qualities I’m looking for in my logo:
