ADDITIONAL NOTE: Some very nice designs have been submitted. Thanks. What's missing to me is the idea that what I'm talking about is measurement: centimeters, liters, grams....distances, weights...MEASURES. Some of these submissions, while attractive, could be selling almost anything...insurance, countertops and depend on the words to make it work. To make this stick in people's mind, the logo needs to go beyond this to make a real impression about the intent. (Plus be legible in a small size...yes, I know that sounds difficult but one of you can make this happen. Of that, I am confident.)
FOR THIS CAMPAIGN, I need something that will inspire forward movement toward a new measurement system in our country that will ultimately help everyone in the United States FOREVER. The implications are almost staggering: an easier time for our students, fewer medical dosing errors and a life free from units that don't work together logically.
This work is important. Please join with me to try to help make this a reality.
The logo will help cement an idea in people's minds. Fun is okay since humor has an impact that almost can't be measured.
Questions? Please send me a message and I'll try to explain in a way that makes sense.
I chose this name for my company because it's short, easy to remember, a call to action and makes a great hashtag (already own the related web domains). I used 99designs for a logo for a related documentary that should be released at the end of next year. This logo could become recognizable in the U.S. and around the world. More than ready to give credit to the designer. I'm attaching the winning logo for the documentary for reference. I would like the logo for the company to connote movement toward something positive. It doesn't have to be incorporated but two related concepts are science education and medical implications for our lack of metric adoption. Just wanted to throw that on the table because I was astonished by the creativity of the last campaign's results. I look forward to working with you. Linda
