The only creative mandatory is: The words "Dynamic Global Events" must appear. We want them to be able to stack for situations where portrait works better than landscape as well as left-to-right, for situations were landscape is better.
Know we make events exclusively (in this order of importance):
When we settle on the right design, we will need treatments so the logo could work against a pure black background and another that works against a pure white background, and other possibilities to accommodate other background situations.
We would like to see some ideas which treat the initials DGE in a stylized fashion; perhaps where the DGE is the fundamental element in the logo design. (We do NOT want the letters DGE to be shown in any kind of "monogrammed" fashion. That is, if you think the letters could appear on a shirt sleeve, we will reject it.)
While we're open to the concept of a "globe," don't overdo it because many companies use the cliched "globe" to say, "Look at us! We're a GLOBAL company, get it?!"
We want to avoid logos that would take up too much space. We've attached an example we hate.
The client is very particular about font choices. Nothing that looks "too bland" or "too 70s" or "too childlike" or "too scripted."
Examples of fonts she likes include:
because they are clean, modern fonts.
