Accessories and Basics for the whole family. We're a bricks and mortar boutique that has (almost) everything but the main outfit. Baby gifts, hosiery, jewelry, accessories and basics. We started with girls then women but we want to let men and boys know we have accessories and basics for them as well.
We started in our house but are now in a real storefront. When we were in our house we were mostly girls and women’s and now we have men’s and boy’s items as well. But even within each demographic group, we’ve expanded into more categories of merchandise. While I say everything but the outfit, we have started carrying a little bit of girls and women’s clothing but also, some of the basics we carry can be an outfit, albeit a simple one. For example, we carry solid color skirts and girl/ladies tops that can be sold year to year. So it’s possible that in the future we won’t be everything but the outfit.
For boy’s and men, we carry socks, white dress shirts, jewish kippahs (head coverings) and other religious garments, ties, bowties, cufflinks.
For women we sell basic solid dresses, basic solid skirts, basic solid tops, religious hair coverings, hair bands, a full offering of hosiery, sophisticated jewelry.
Girls - socks, headbands, clips, tights, hosiery, jewelry, basic solid skirts, basic solid tops, basic solid dresses, pajamas, robes, winter hats/gloves
Babies - footies, pompom hats, hair accessories, jewelry, solid and ribbed one and two-piece outfits, layette, pacifier clips, baby blankets
We sell school uniforms and have now purchased an embroidery machine so we can expand further into gifts and personalization (though that hasn’t been announced to the public yet).
We’re torn whether to do a logo as HSTB. While Head Shoulders Toes & Bows is a mouthful, nobody really knows us as HSTB. But there are definitely cute things that can be done to the logo if we use the letters. (See attached)
The logo will be used in print (fliers, gift cards, bags, etc.), online, on social media and for store signage. We’ll be aggressively expanding our online presence and integrating our website with our in-store point-of-sale system.
We’re open to having a subtly different version for different demographics. For example, gray merchandise bags for men and boys might have one version and pink bags for ladies and girls another, while babies might have a third.
For colors we would want grays plus a female accent color and a male accent color.
