No Table too Small reviews the capabilities people, groups, and organizations need to employ to change the food system in a sustainable manner. I review 6 capabilities which include: holding space, communication, reflection in action, co-creation, leadership, and systems thinking. The book provides tools to use that have been learned from personal experience. In this book, I question and push readers to think about how inclusive and collaborative they are really being as these are the two main thrusts to create change in the food system. After working in the food system within state agriculture, food justice activism, and the hunger relief system, there needs to be a change in how we work and who we work with. Integrated collaboration and inclusiveness need to be stretched and expanded and this book explains how to do it.
