Lots of different colors (check out the logo examples below and way below).. You can see that there are blacks and reds... solid colors.. or blue and blacks.. oranges/reds.. see? The main goal is to make it recognizable from a distant!! (see the examples below)

I'm looking for a nice designed logo for my new company. It should be modern, sleek with something that sets it apart.

Let me give you some examples and ideas to help you.

https://www.vemma.com/ - This logo is a very simple logo - and they took the e and put a orange circle to make it stand a part. Very simple yet effective for branding. It looks cool everywhere. Notice the orange is not a basic orange but has a different tint to it so it stands out.

http://bigideamastermind.com/images…bigger.png - This logo is loud and proud. Notice the font is EASY to read.. it stands out and there is a cool symbol that sets it apart. That logo can be put on a wall and be easily recognized. Notice the green has a different tint to it so it looks web 2.0.

Great Modern Font - with something special with the letters.

If you are going to use a symbol, make sure it's unique enough where it would eventually look like OUR company and not everyone elses.

I don't like giving examples of symbols because then, I get 100 different logos with the same symbol. So simple.. modern.. easy to read logo that is going to look cool on my walls.

My goal is for people to see this from 50 feet away and know that this is MY company!
