I love the sense of completeness when I am able to put my client thoughts to a Digital Identity because a vast universe of thoughts and vision needs to be encapsulated keeping in mind both the Source and Destination.  For me source is what the client wants to portray and convey via my design and destination is what the target audience understands and captures through my design.
