I have worked and lived in London, LA and now in New England. I like the clean modern design and want a website where I can showcase my work, attract clients and write blog posts to promote me as an \"expert\" in my field.\"
SOLUTION:
The solution was to design a clean, feminine and sophisticated logo design that could be used with or without the full name. The icon is composed of the initial letters J + O with a minimal decoration on it, representing the client's business: decorating homes to increase the value of the sale.")

Luxury is not just how things look like. Many cheap and bad things might try to look like luxurious things (think fake watches or smartphone copycats). But they aren't and probably will never be.
Why? Because luxury and sophistication are way more than visuals: it's about the experience.
Is it pretty? Sure, yes, but that's not the main selling point. Having and wearing a Rolex makes you more confident. Makes you feel well, know there's a very nice piece of technology at your wrist. The sound it makes when ticking. The amazing experience when buying it at the store. The smell of the first unboxing.
There are many pretty watches out there. But very, very few can give you a similar experience (if any).
The logo here it's carefully balanced with clear lines, unique and customized font with a beautiful and memorable logo.

This is a completely different approach from my last design. Instead of focusing on the gong itself, now this design focuses on the EXPERIENCE of your customers.
I'm using purple and gold colors and a simple yet beautiful font on the name (with a little tweak on the letter O).
I also selected an image to represent your business (just as an example), but here's why it works:
The image represents our minds during the sessions. Is it about pain drops or is it a picture of the universe? It represents SENSATIONS and FEELINGS.
We don't fully control our minds and the gong bath is a trip to the unknown. We might not know exactly where we are going, but we know we will be a better version of ourselves at the end.
The focus of the design is in the results, not in the tools to get there.")

The blue and copper and navy blue color palette create a sophisticated and luxurious feel to the logo.

The basic concept is: some small little square parts come together to form a clean and sharp hexagon shape. What does it mean? Here it is:
Your expertise helps with complicated problems. You put the \"pieces together\" so your clients can focus on the results they want. The hexagon shape is a reference to the wax where bees produce honey.
The typography is sharp and strong, representing trust, professionalism, and confidence in what you do. The yellow color is used in the surroundings of the logo to keep the BlackHoney logo... well, black.
It's a geometric and sophisticated logo that stands out. If it could talk, it would say: \"Hey, look at me. I solve complicated stuff so you can focus on winning. We know what we are doing, and we are damn good at it. Let's work together and take you to the next level!\".")

To shift from a, as you said, \"a rather cold industrialist look\" to a humane look, we must shift the main view of the logo.
This logo focuses on the \"Zeitgeist\" of the business. What do you want your customers to feel when they turn the bottle and find your logo there? Here are some words: comfort, trust, altruism, optimism, and faith. This logo is clean, sophisticated and welcoming. Mature enough to keep the trust built along 40 years of business but friendly enough for customers to \"connect\" with it.
If this logo could talk, it would say: \"Hey, I'm not an evil and greedy corporation creating plastic and polluting the world. I'm here to be the bridge between amazing products and you, to keep them safe and help protect the world. Do you want to come along on this journey?\".")

1. It's just freaking good looking: action-driven people, like golf and soccer players, athletes and fitness professionals are very active. If they are your target customers, give them a logo they can relate to.
2. The color is perfect: You're right, it's all black and white. Why? Because you don't want your business looking like just another dentist on the street. 99% of dentists' logos are blue. You don't want to be one of them.
3. It's a strong logo: Your customers are getting better and better every day. They want to beat the competition. They win gold medals and championships. Your logo has to be very strong as well.
4. It's unique: Believe me, you don't want a canned pre-made stock logo to represent your business. You need something unique that truly connects to your target audience. Here it is.")

What the logo for Charter School represents is the union of passion for teaching and the right to do it.
The geometric and modern owl in the logo represents the art of teaching. Peaceful, wise and laser-focused, the owl is the symbol for the education your passionate clients aspire to be.
The owl is standing on the scales of justice, the symbol for the law of a nation.
Now here's the real deal (and why this logo works): the law is the base for the owl, as Charter School provides the base for its clients' education business to thrive.
The logo tells a story. It talks with your target audience. That's why it works. There are a lot of pretty logos out there, I agree.
Telling a story? Not that much, and that what's separate the good logo from the best.")
